FASHION-IDOL-3.jpg So you fancy yourself the next Kate Moss (minus the fur coats)? Or maybe the green Rachel Zoe, stylist to the eco stars? It’s time to put your pictures where your mouth is!

BBC’s hot to trot online ethical fashion magazine THREAD launches the UK’s first ethical fashion style search, a competition to find the country’s chicest eco fashionistas.

Thread is challenging fashion lovers to style an ethical look from a mixture of organic, fair trade, vintage, recycled or customized clothes. The winner will get the chance to spend a day with a top stylist at London Fashion Week in September, assisting with the styling of the Thread fashion show. Entries will be accepted online at www.bbc.co.uk/thread/stylesearch and the closing date is 12 noon on Tuesday 26th August 2008.

FASHION-IDOL-2.jpg In a country known for its avant-guard style and forward thinking fashion consciousness we are waiting with bated breath to see the results…start snapping ladies!FASHION-IDOL-1.jpg
