Actually no. The folks at Pants to Poverty are offering a ‘once in a lifetime’ trip to India to celebrate Diwali, the ancient Indian festival of lights, in Andhra Pradesh. We’re told that if you’re the lucky winner then you’ll be able to ‘party with the tribal cotton farmers’ who are ridding the world of bad pants, one pair at a time.  You’ll get a factory visit of where the lovely Pants to Poverty fair trade and organic options are made too.

To win this prize you need to upload the best photos of you (or your mates) wearing good pants.
Like most credible competitions, this also has its fair share of rules, as they state here:

1.  Cleverly express ridding the world of bad pants.
2.  Be registered online through the competition page.
3.  Be legal - we cant go breaking the law now can we!
4.  Be decent - this isn’t a porn site!

The most ‘flamboyant, fanciful, frivolous and fantastic photo’ will be a winner.

Trip dates apply, but make sure you get your entry in by 1st September 2009. Enter at  www.pantstopoverty.com/competition.
