It's always great to soothe your eco fashion conscience with a consumer buy that benefits charity. You can go ahead with the funky second collection of 'Designers against AIDS' tees available at H&M stores around the world since the beginning of this month.

‘Designers Against AIDS’ (DAA) was founded in 2004 in order to raise AIDS awareness in the international media and towards the general public, more specifically towards young people in the industrialized countries using elements from pop culture. On January 31st 2008, H&M and DAA launched the first ‘Fashion against AIDS' collection of T-shirts, tank tops and hooded sweaters for boys and girls designed by the world‘s most acclaimed musicians and fashion designers, such as Timbaland, Katharine Hamnett and Rihanna.

This year's artists include Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams/N.E.R.D., Estelle, Yoko Ono, Dita Von Teese, Cyndi Lauper and Robyn. All T-shirts and body’s are again made of organic cotton and 25% of the sales price will be donated to HIV/AIDS prevention projects of Designers against AIDS, UNFPA, MTV’s Staying Alive Foundation and YouthAIDS.

Aside from its 'Fashion against AIDS' collection, DAA continuously develops partnerships that help spread the message on AIDS awareness. Through their 'Models against AIDS' campaign and their new online store, they reach thousands of youngsters every year.
