Supermodel, environmentalist, and glowing mom, Gisele Bündchen is piercing the surface of another green endeavor. The Goodwill Ambassador for the Environment for Eco Fashion Week Vancouver is adding Co-director of a water bottle design project to her long list of planet-saving projects. Eco Fashion Week Vancouver and SIGG Canada are joining forces with Gisele on the launch of an exclusive bottle that will be handed out at the opening to Eco Fashion Week Vancouver this September. With Bündchen’s all natural skincare line, Sejaa and eco friendly sandals, Ipanema already under her top model belt, Gisele has taken on this project to help endorse Eco Fashion Week’s ‘plastic bottle-free’ event.

Promoting an adoption of reusable bottles is a movement and Gisele isn’t the only style icon to broach the subject as Vivienne Westwood has also launched two limited edition bottles in collaboration with SIGG, with plans for a third to be released in September. Westwood’s limited edition bottles were handed out during major fashion events in February and June and have also been available in limited supplies at Vivienne Westwood stores, the SIGG web shop and select retail outlets around the world.

Following Eco Fashion Week Vancouver, Gisele’s exclusive bottle will be for sale in locations across Canada, with proceeds going to WaterCan, a leading Canadian charity dedicated to fighting global poverty by helping the world’s poorest people gain access to clean water, basic sanitation and hygiene education.
