UKEcoboudoir beautiful, sustainable and ethical lingerie is having an “everything must go” sale to make room for their new collection launching on their brand new site, August 10th! And for those who love the look and the ethics but are on a smaller budget, Ecoboudoir has just announced it’s collaboration with high street giant Marks Spencers for a Christmas collection. The Little Show Off (Part Deux) will take place in London on August 26th as a fundraiser for Soko Kenya. Launched by Lalesso www.lalesso.com, the project aims to provide a sustainable and creative long-term solution to Kenya's economic crisis by promoting community-driven, ethical and environmentally aware trade in fashion. The project has been successfully piloted for the past two years. The pilot has employed 5 tailors, paid them a living wage and supported the local community. Soko now aims to employ 30 tailors within two years. The fundraiser will be an evening of music and talent held on Wednesday August 26th from 7pm at The Hub (5 Torrent St, EC1V 1NQ, 5£ at the door). KOREAIf you happen to be in Korea between now and October 4th, don’t miss the impressive Fashion Ethics – Wear Good exhibit at the Gyeonggi Museum of Modern Art. Featuring 20 artists, the exhibition explores the link between art, ethical fashion and craftsmanship.
