The Netherlands rock when it comes to eco fashion events at the moment. This weekend during Inside Design Amsterdam 2010, EFW blogger Annouk Post invites you to the hotel room exhibition ‘Sustainable Luxury’. This alluring yearly event is organized by Dutch glossy ELLE Living and will take place in the beautiful Lloyd Hotel. About 10.000 visitors and a big network of international press will visit this event where many designers and brands will showcase their products. ELLE asked Annouk Post to present her vision on sustainability in one of the enchanting hotel rooms. She invites visitors in her cupboardbed (with organic blankets by Yumeko) to tell you about new values of luxury in food, fashion, products and art.
On Saturday October 2nd, Annouk and friends organize another Ecofabs Fashion Party. During the Textile Weekend in Tilburg, Ecofabs invites you to bring five unwanted items from your wardrobe and go home with stylists' advice and a new outfit. While you're in Tilburg, don't miss the new exhibition reTHINK in the TextielMuseum. Within the framework of the reTHINK! Exhibition the Textielmuseum has invited a number of designers to work on 'sustainability' in the TextielLab. In addition to the exhibition, two workshops are being organised. On Friday 29 October 2010, Eco-Dyeing & printing with eucalyptus will be presided over by designer Wieteke Opmeer. In January 2011 Kate Goldsworthy (circumstances permitting) will hold a workshop lasting a number of days as a continuation of her work on display in the exhibition.
Last but not least, on Sunday October 17th, Strawberry Earth organizes the very first Wonderland. After successful events like the Strawberry Earth Film Festival and Strawberry Earth Hotel Crash, Strawberry Earth has invited their favourite fashion and beauty labels from all over Europe and some of their creative friends to exhibit their designs and art work at this unique fashion and music event. We are proud that again our blogger Annouk will be present at this event, this time as part of the blogger camp amidst some of the fashion editors and bloggers of the big Dutch newspapers.
