ECO MEETS VINTAGEEthical fashionistas are already queens of mixing and matching second hand finds, swapped items and new eco brands. Some clever new stores have picked up on this trend by offering beautifully curated mixes of the two. PORTLANDThis Friday August 7th, 2009, don’t miss the grand opening celebration of Second Nature, a collaborative Boutique/Gallery between Portland designers Emily Katz and Heather Treadway. With photography by Sarah Meadows. This shop will be featuring new garments from upcoming collections as well as well curated vintage clothing for women. The opening is from 5-9pm, with music, tasty treats and bubbly. |
