The mission of Ethical Fashion Forumis to support and promote sustainable practices, facilitate collaboration, raise awareness and provide the tools and resources needed to reduce poverty, reduce environmental damage and raise standards in the fashion industry.

Nolchais an award-winning leading global platform advancing the business of independent fashion designers and retailers via social e-commerce, New York and London fashion week events and an educational video portal.

Nolcha and Ethical Fashion Forum have partnered up to launch the INNOVATION USA Award for new talent in fashion design and sustainability. The competition looks to discover and highlight inspirational fashion design that benefits people and the environment. The INNOVATION Award originated in the UK and has gained the support of major movers and shakers in the fashion industry. Past INNOVATION Winners boast contracts from retailers including Topshop, Liberty's, Browns, and yoox.com. INNOVATION USA aims to motivate the new generation of design leaders to incorporate and maintain sustainability at the core of what they do.

Applications are accepted until June 17th and available online.

Winners will be rewarded with an exhibition at Nolcha Fashion Week New York in September 2011, where they will have an opportunity to connect with buyers, media and an increasingly aware and eco-driven fashion audience of 3000 visitors. In addition, the winner will receive one year in Bel Esprit Showroom plus a dedicated email to 1500 ethical conscious retailers and decision makers.
