Festival of World Cultures
Calling all Fashion Designers/Fashion Activists/Textile Artists
Here's your chance to exhibit with Re-dress
at the Festival of World Cultures, Dun Laoghaire in Ireland. Re-dress
will be creating a DIY fashion/art area at the festival this 24th and
25th of July and are asking designers and artists who use recycled /
upcycled textiles as their medium to submit a piece to be exhibited on
the Harbour Plaza over the two day festival.

Design Futurist announces the launch of its Sustainable Fashion and Textiles Workshop series hosted by the Pratt Design Incubator,
a vibrant and energetic group of creative professionals working to link
sustainability to enterprise. These workshops, run by Design Futurist
founder Natalia Allen, have been created to drive economic,
environmental and social sustainability in the fashion industry.
The Sustainable Fashion & Textile workshops are curated, easy to
understand and interactive presentations on sustainability. The events
engage diverse audiences with important facts about sustainable fashion
and textiles to drive positive change in the industry and to support
healthy lifestyles.

Castle Palooza
Calling all Fashion Designers/Fashion Activists
Here's your chance to be involved in Ireland's best boutique music and arts festival – Castlepalooza! Re-dress
and For the Love of Art collective will be taking over the ballroom in
Charleville Castle at Castlepalooza on August Bank Holiday weekend to
work on a fashion/Art installation. ‘For the Love of Art’ will be
asking artists to create fabric designs based on some medieval aspect
(art, fashion, architecture…etc) but with a modern ‘Modieval’ twist.
They are looking for designers to create unique one-off pieces of
clothing live in the castle ballroom from this fabric inspired by the
‘Modieval’ theme.

Montreal Fashion & Design Festival
The
10th edition of the Montréal Fashion and Design Festival will once
again take over the city's renowned and prestigious McGill College
Avenue with its rich and diversified program. Fashion shows followed by
live performances from well-known artists, parties in Montreal bars and
lounges and a Shopping Rally in downtown’s trendiest boutiques with
gift bags, discounts and beauty tips are part of this highly
fashionable event, a must for local fashionistas as well as tourists.

by Design is doing an awesome summer-long event called the Green by
Design Summer Light Challenge to help you improve your creativity and
sense of eco-fashion. Through this event, they are challenging all of
you eco-lovers out there to choose just 10 pieces of clothing to wear

opportunity for you to sort through all the clutter and select your 10
