Peter Ingwersen, NOIR’s founder and owner, is visiting IED fashion school this coming Friday to meet students and professionals and discuss on fashion, luxury and sustainability. This will be the second session of a number of exciting events on fashion design and sustainability held at IED Madrid along the current academic year. SANS, Misión Misericordia and Veja are also part of these sessions. Prior to setting up NOIR – a luxury ethical brand based in Denmark, and getting involved in organic cotton production through Illuminati II in Uganda, Peter was brand manager at Levi’s Vintage and Levi’s Red, and CEO of Day, Birger and Mikkelsen. NOIR’s collections are sold at selected boutiques all over the world. Peter’s conference will be followed by a presentation on the new concept of luxury by Marta Barcia, Vogue contributor and freelance journalist, and a practical workshop on eco beauty products facilitated by Catarina Texeira, head of communication at Dr. Hauschka Spain. Location: IED Madrid (room 21), Palacio de Altamira, Calle Flor Alta 8, Madrid. Date & time: Friday November 21st, 13:00 – 17:00 hrs. A cocktail will be offered by ‘Natura Si’ at 14:30 hrs.
