Warming up for the Worldcup? Then watch with grace, because eco fashion in football has finally arrived. Nike has produced environmental friendly jerseys for all teams made from recycled polyester. "We equip our athletes with new jerseys, which not only [...] optimize physical performance, but also manage to have less impact on the environment since they are made from recycled materials", said Charlie Denson, president of Nike. But "green" does not mean less effective as these jerseys include a technology enabling them to remain dry and maintain a proper body temperature. Aside from Nike's fashion forward adoption of green, we're also excited to learn about the green buildings that blossom in South Africa. The Moses Mabhid Stadium in Durban features an array of eco-worthy design features and it doesn’t hurt that it’s pretty amazing looking — especially at night.

Great take on Eco Fashion for the masses! I've been waiting years to see Eco Fashion come into the realm of sports and this is an encouraging mark of some major movement. Nicely done :)
