Sustainable Luxury is a big concept in 2009. First, it was the title of the International Herald Tribune’s annual conference that took place in New Delhi in March, with speakers such as Suzy Menkes, François-Henri Pinault and Stella McCartnery.

This weekend, the first Sustainable Luxury Fair is taking over Paris museum Palais de Tokoy starting today May 15th and until Sunday May 17th. The show, which is open to the public, will be a mix of artistic installations and a showcase for companies that provide options for a better kind of luxury consumption.

If you’re in a shopping mood, don’t miss the 21st “Braderie de l’Arcat” (from May 20th to the 23rd), this annual charity sale (and we mean SALE!), which profits an association helping people with HIV, gathers over 100 fashion, beauty and home décor brands. Along with classic French couture such as Chanel, Balenciaga or Dior, you can find some eco fashion brands such as Article 23 and Tudo Bom. Happy shopping!
