June 5th is the UN’s
World Environment Day, the theme for 2009 is climate change, the broader consequences of environmental change, and what societies can do in response. Here are a few fun things you can do in response: taking advantage of amazing eco fashion sales and events thrown by our favorite activistas! NYOn June 4th (from 6 to 9pm) Kaight is hosting a trunk show for the cmarchuska spring/summer 2009 collection, and frankly, we can’t think of a better way of celebrating the environment than shopping for sexy organic cotton dresses, perfectly cut T’s and soft scarves in a cozy environment while sipping complimentary organic cocktails and wine…
UKFashion Conscience is really getting into the spirit of World Environment Day by giving up to 70% discounts on selected lines! The edgy online boutique is also making room for some exciting new eco designers: look out for Brooklyn sensation Bodkin, which will make you feel like a character in a Sophia Coppola film, discover sexy Australian swim wear brand Emobi and find something precious from Arabel Lebrusan’s delicate jewelry line Leblas.
