Watch out Lacoste, there’s a new kid in town! The story behind Sébola started on the Seine riverbanks where founder and marathon runner Loïc Pollet got the idea during his daily run. Working in the fashion industry for many years, he wondered why sportswear wasn’t produced in an ethical manner. Normally, celebrity fashion lines are a huge pet peeve of ours: bland, mass produced, disposable clothes that only serve to make the already superwealthy celebrity richer and more visible…not much to like.
Now Sheryl Crow has already proven her involvement in environmental causes so we are hoping this will be a way of bringing more eco consciousness into the limelight while providing truly flattering sustainable and ethical clothes, because let’s face it, we’re always on the lookout for that perfect pair!

Tapping into the fashion for tattoo printed apparel (just type “Madonna Ed Hardy” into a Google Images search and you’ll see what we mean) Chopper Couture is taking things to the next level by using eco friendly bamboo and tencel fibers and producing all its garments ethically in Canada.
