Bodkin pushes the envelope a little further each season with new fabrications in the ethical arena such as post-consumer recycled polyester, recycled wool, fine organic cottons, salvaged textiles, and hand loomed weaves from collectives in India.

Eviana Hartman, owner and Creative Director, founded Bodkin in 2008 as a means to express her exact vision alongside her interest in sustainability. In 2009, Claire Lampert joined the team as design director. Hartman and Lampert are both daughters of architects with years of combined experience in the fashion industry, Hartman as a fashion writer and fashion features editor and Lampert as design director at fashion houses such as Urban Outfitters and Mirror/Dash.

The combined visions of Hartman and Lampert are genius in creating designs that are soft yet bold, comfortable yet sexy, simple yet transformative. The details in asymmetrical cuts, angled ruffles, wrap around styles and floating layers all speak of the artistry that goes into the blueprint and construction of every single piece.
