The spring/summer 2009 show that will take place from July 18th to 20th ‘08 in Berlin will feature around 50 sustainable brands in its dedicated “Green Area." The buyers who decide what ends up on the shelves of your favorite boutiques will get up close and personal with green goods such as ethical organic jeans from Kuyichi, eco luxe fashions from Fin, sexy vegan pumps from Beyond Skin, and many many more! For those who wish to further their learning, organizations such as Made-By will be on hand to inform and educate. These tradeshows are proof once more that the sustainable business model is here to stay. We leave you with an interview snippet from the beautiful Green Living video on the Premium website: Ole Tillman of Premium: “Do you think the sustainable lifestyle is a mega-trend?” Peter Ingwersen of Noir Illuminati : “Yes I think it’s the Zeitgeist, THE mega-trend. Usually, when you look at mega-trends, they normally last for seven years. The interesting thing with this is to see if it lasts longer than seven years…because what’s the alternative? Is it to pollute more and use more child labor?”
