With Fashion Weeks going on full swing from NY to London and the Olympic Games to follow, it’s easy to get lost, to make it easy on you, here is our recap of this week’s best in eco fashion! COPENHAGEN FASHION WEEK We always look forward to Copenhagen Fashion Week to see the latest from some of our favorite high fashion socially responsible designers. Here is a front row seat to see the latest from Noir and Fin. We also enjoyed this beautiful streamlined range of fair trade bags from Mette:s Africa. VANCOUVER If Olympic gear is your thing, the official Vancouver Olympics Store claims that all its goods have been “produced according to a high level of ethical sourcing and social responsibility”, we’re still holding our breath for organic cotton and fair trade certification… However, we were much more excited to attend Eco Fashion Forward, a fundraising event for Vancouver’s Eco Fashion Week, with a portion of proceeds going to the David Suzuki Foundation, the charity night was a celebration of fabulous sustainable fashion with some of our favorite Canadian designers such as Nixxi and Adhesif Clothing.
