EFW has made its mark in the eco-fashion industry and will continue to be a portal for the latest technologies, designers and styles in the eco-fashion sector. That being said, we are forming partnerships and stretching beyond the “fashion” industry into all parts of the green spectrum to further demonstrate our commitment in protecting our planet through sustainability.

I attended the MiaGreen Expo and Conference last week in Miami Beach. A melting pot of eco including many companies from the building sector representing green ideas and products for flooring, lighting, water heating, filtration and plumbing, with sprinklings of eco-fashion such as EcoGems, a vendor offering jewelry and accessories handmade by artisans in the Philippines, and PIE Studio, an exceptional and unique furniture collection hand-crafted of natural materials such as water hyacinth, liana, bamboo, and rattan.

A common notion that seemed to infuse many of the conversations I had at the conference was the idea that like-minded companies should join forces, regardless of specific industry. It was a wonderful display of camaraderie at it’s eco-finest.
