Sometimes, a girl just wants to shut down her computer, make herself a cup of tea (or rich almond milk hot chocolate) curl up on the couch and read a paper magazine, or maybe take it with her on her morning commute…no judgment, we like that too!

Luckily, there's now a greener alternative to your favorite glossies. The Dutch already have Green 2 and this August, the chic American eco-lifestyle magazine Boho. Chock-full of sustainable goodies, green tips and inspirational stories, the mag is also printed on 100% post consumer waste paper with natural soy inks.

A quick scan through their first issue’s style section revealed a beautifully styled editorial spread of eco-fashions. However, they seem to encounter the same problem as us in the street style section “how do you spot an eco-fashionista?”, green girls are so style savvy these days, that you really can’t pick them out of a crowd. Their solution: finding inspiring outfits that mix vintage clothing with non-eco brands…and launching a style search contest to showcase the style of real sustainable girls in the future. If you want to enter and need some inspiration, go check out the results from the style search competition launched this summer by Thread in the UK!
