VEGAN FEET FOR FALL PART 1

This is the year! If you don’t wear leather and you’ve been moaning and groaning about the lack of fashionable options and the high cost of the few truly fabulous vegan shoe brands out there, this fall you will finally be rewarded for your patience.

Of course, waking up at four o’clock in the morning to bid on Stella McCartney boots at half price on E-bay is still an option (not that it’s ever happened to us, of course) but you might just find shoe love amongst our new fall favorites:

GERORGETTE FALL.jpg First up, the brand that makes us write this article now, in the middle of sweltering sandal weather: Georgette! It seems that those same girls you were bidding against on Ebay (you know who you are “Freaky3D2v”!) await the new arrivals of this chic collection with their mouse at the ready. Case in point, a few sizes of the “wear anywhere” Alexa boot are already sold out! Luckily there are many other fantastic options, including this golden ankle bootie that we unearthed in the sales section.

BEYOND-SKIN-FALL.jpg Now that you’re warned let’s take a look at some previews for the new Beyond Skin line, which will soon be up for sale on the website. Beyond Skin is now handmade in Spain, which has allowed owner Natalie Dean to uphold the great esthetics, quality and ethics of her line, while providing eco fashionistas with a more affordable product. We love these bold lace-up booties and fiery red pumps! For those of you who still want the “handmade in England” cachet of a unique product, Sui Generis has just the thing. Look out for these luxe embellished stilettos and patent buckle purse.

MELISSA FALL.jpg We already waxed lyrical about Melissa , the plastic shoe brand from Brazil, last week , but we couldn’t resist including these colorful heels designed by Vivienne Westwood or Alexander Herchovitch’s fun flats (both models come in many more colors).

SUI-GENERIS-FALL.jpgKRISTEN-LEE FALL.jpgLast but not least, don’t miss this vegan organic cotton pump by ultra trendy shoe designer Kristen Lee at Kaight or, since we seem to be on a chic messenger bag kick, her gorgeous gold canvas bag.

Look out for “PART 2” as we keep looking for the best cruelty-free boots pumps and more to take you through the fall and winter. For now, get back on that lounge chair and have yourself another organic cocktail!
