knickers.gifSo you think you know what’s going on down there?

Pants Exposed, a provocative new film by Jenny and Verity White of Eco-Boudoir might have some surprises in store for you.

Pants, knickers, skivvies, undies, panties, underwear, thong, boy short, we all have a different way of referring to our most basic piece of clothing and very different ways to go about purchasing it. Emergency-buy at the convenience store when there isn’t a single clean pair left? Feel good shopping before a big date? After you’ve seen this film, you might be tempted to revise those shopping strategies… or even go commando!

If your new year’s resolutions include revamping your intimates drawer, here are a few great places to start: Eco-Boudoir offers many sexy ensembles but there are also several other green underwear options, from the colorful basics of Pants to Poverty to the retro glamour of Enamore. Other favorites include pine-tree separates of G=98, side tie undies from Green Knickers and pretty pastels from Ciel. For men, we like Babygod and the convenience and colors of American Apparel’s organic underwear line.

And soon, eco friendly lingerie might become even easier to find, the cornerstone industry event, the Salon International de la Lingerie in Paris (from January 18th to the 21st) is one of the sponsors of the Pants Exposed campaign and this year, has committed to promoting sustainability within lingerie.
