We’re ready to shed our layers and step into spring with some fresh new clothes. Each of the trends we picked was inspired by a different source, and this time, we’ll let you in on the way an editor’s mind works when putting these together! “Lemon and Lime” began as a dress obsession when we spotted the lime sheath below at Ethos during the Prêt-à-Porter salon in Paris, we weren’t surprised to see that others had picked up on this color obsession when we saw it on Garance Doré’s blog! “Delicate” is the word that best describes Minna’s enchanting world, we already loved the clothes but were truly charmed by the designer when we met her at Esthetica. The Finnish designer has such a strong visual universe that she even made her booth in a big impersonal tent look like a little dollhouse full of antique treasures and girlie secrets. From that point on we couldn’t get lace and crochet off our mind. We also loved seeing how this look was interpreted at Stewart and Brown, layered over a brightly colored tank or slip. Finally, “Black and White” is the eternal trend, it never goes out of style but always reinvents itself, making it both modern and timeless. We don’t know how timeless the open toe booties we fell in love with will be, but hey, at least they’re vegan. LEMON AND LIME
