Me to We Style is a new Canada based social enterprise that is committed to providing ethically manufactured, quality apparel for the socially conscious consumer. Their product line is locally produced, sweat-shop free, made using certified organic cotton and viscose from bamboo, and created to inspire a focus that is less on “Me” and more on “We” – our communities, our nations, and our world.

In an effort to further promote sustainability in fashion, Me to We Style has launched a campaign titled ‘Less is More’ for the summer season, which involves taking one simple dress and styling it in 12 different ways. The looks range from a casual and comfortable beach look to a more high fashion evening look. The ‘Madura’ t-shirt style dress is made of organic cotton and is meant to exemplify how easy it is to transform one item of clothing into many different looks.

Me to We Style launched the ‘Less is More’ campaign on Tuesday June 29th and releases a new look every Tuesday and Friday until August 6th, via their website. Each of the 12 looks is named. Four of them after eco-fashionistas: Kelly Drennan of Fashion Takes Action, Candice Batista TV host of a Greener Toronto, Tonya Surman founder of Centre for Innovation and Melissa Shin of Corporate Knights. The remaining 8 are named after different locations around Toronto such as the already released looks Dundas Square and Kensington.

Through the ‘Less is More’ campaign, Me to We Style aims to stress their commitment to sustainability and high quality garments. “We wanted to do something different and promote our basic apparel in a way that we have never done before, by taking a fashion angle and having some fun with it,” says Tessa MacKay, Marketing Director at Me to We Style.

The apparel company donates 50% of profits to its charity partner Free the Children and a tree is planted for every item purchased.
