The event will take place at Rich Mix - an old garment factory - in the heart of London's vibrant East end. This event is by invitation only. 28 April: Placement Training Fashioning an Ethical Industry runs placement training for students who are interested in working conditions in garment manufacture and are about to go on, are currently on or have been on a work placement. The training is open to any students regardless of whether their placement has an explicit focus on 'ethical issues'. Through the training, students will gain a deeper understanding of issues faced by garment workers and efforts being made to improve conditions and enable them to share their experience with other students on work placements.
