MADE-BY and Organic Exchange are searching for a joint Eco Fabric Manager. This person would be responsible for building up knowledge and a network around sourcing sustainable materials for the textile industry that includes fabrics, yarns, interlinings, trims, etc. Please find attached the job profile for more detail information.

Tasks:

  • Keeping up to date with the developments in the field of sustainable
    textiles and making this information available centrally
  • Supplying information around materials, prices and suppliers to
    MADE-BY and Organic Exchange officers and their customers
  • Building and managing a network of suppliers of sustainable
    materials including organic cotton suppliers
  • Initiating developments with sustainable materials suppliers on the
    basis of market demand out of the MADE-BY/Organic Exchange circle
  • Introducing and linking supply chain parties to each other within the supply chain support programs of MADE-BY and Organic Exchange customers in order to facilitate the building of sustainable supply chains
  • Participating in Organic Exchange Europe and MADE-BY staff meetings
     
Profile:
  • At least 6 years of experience within textile buying/sourcing/production,
    textile technology or other relevant areas
  • Knowledge of and experience with sustainability, preferably in textiles
  • Understanding of certification systems and logistic processes
  • Excellent communication skills, builder of bridges
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and independent worker
  • Pragmatic, result oriented, walks the talk, service oriented
  • Fluency in English and preferably one other major European language
  • A relevant Masters degree in textiles, engineering, supply chain
    management or similar level

Fashion Marketing and Management Lecturer

 

Responsibilities: 

• Design course curriculum materials for lessons in Fashion Marketing Management
• Plan and deliver these lessons in a clear and appropriate manner
• Monitor and endeavor to maintain high student moral and motivation
• Ensure student discipline
• Assist with school promotional activities

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Management, Fashion Merchandising or equivalent from a recognized academic institution
• Industry experience with a credible portfolio
• Dynamic and enthusiastic, with an interest to nurture students and to help them achieve their potential
• Creative with an ability to adapt to a multi-cultural setting and to handle students of different nationalities

 

Fashion Design Lecturers

 

Responsibilities:

• Willing to relocate to one of our Asian campus
