Judged by some of the world’s leading creative thinkers, The Earth Awards identifies viable ideas in areas of fashion, architecture and consumer products which represent a real contribution for an improvement of life, and marries those ideas with investors. The objective of Earth Awards is to give the winning designer the means to enter the worldwide consumer marketplace.

After a summer of white-hot eco fashion news, September ushers in a golden line up of fashion week events and designer showcases. The official kick off to these festivities is definitely The GreenShows Eco Fashion Week, on September 12-14 at the Metropolitan Pavilion, in NYC's Chelsea Arts District. As the premiere green offshoot of NYFW's Lincoln Center's events, The GreenShows will feature a diverse line up of eco fashion designer collections to celebrate.

Two major eco-textile and ethical fashion events will join forces in London this October when the Ethical Fashion Source Expo runs alongside the fourth international RITE Group conference on sustainable textiles.
