Why leave an UGG sized footprint on the earth when you could tread it with a light and sexy stiletto? The brand-new online magazine Ecostiletto.com helps you make eco fabulous lifestyle choices with weekly fashion, beauty and “good life” picks.

On July 15th, the site celebrated its launch with an eco bash at West Hollywood’s Murano restaurant. Among the more than 300 guests were Hollywood hottie Adrien Grenier, actress Kelly Rutherford and supermodel/eco-cosmetics entrepreneur Josie Maran who is also a member of the website’s advisory board. The coordinators from Bash Events showed the crowd a greening good time with a well stocked all organic bar: cocktails by VeeV, Badger Mountain wine, Eel River beer and some Hint Water in between every glass. And since even organic beverages aren’t recommended on an empty stomach, guests munched on delicious seasonal bites by Executive Chef Joe Anguiano and vegan cupcakes by Sweet Debbie. For those who don’t shy away from public pampering there were even chemical-free Acquarella manicures from Green Bliss Eco-Spa, and

Founder and CEO Rachel Sarnoff stresses that Ecostiletto is not about guilt but about information, and the website is already full of great tidbits on everything from great designers to organic sheets and even dry shampoo! How can this be the case for a brand new site? Well, remember the GreenGirlGuide? Yes, you loved it and we did too, but apparently it had its detractors (National Geographic, not all panda bears and butterflies it turns out...) and had to shut down. And so it came to be that the Stiletto was born and retained all the archived articles from the GreenGirlGuide for our perusing pleasure! Look out for inspiring interviews with earth-conscious celebrities like Chloe Sevigny and Mary-Louise Parker!
