The Essentials

The Tigerlily brand is all about hand-picked, complimentary collections of clothing, jewellery and accessories. Whilst the shops and website stock fantastic block-colour basics like bamboo leggings and cotton blend cardigans, Marj never shies away from offering bold and striking prints and patterns – whatever the season!

Marj has a real eye for what will appeal to her customers in each location, already getting stuck into the Bristol community and introducing lots of locals to Komodo’s beautiful bamboo tops which sold out in just two weeks, with Skunkfunk’s bright pattern dresses also proving a huge hit both in-store and online.

Marj’s brand story has been featured in local press in Bristol since opening, which has brought in great business and waves of positivity. Visiting a Tigerlily store isn’t just a shopping experience, it’s a social experience – the staff are active on Instagram and Facebook and love talking to customers about fashion, gifts, sustainability and just generally spreading the love!

Tigerlily hopes that this enthusiasm translates online in the web store, where clothes are juxtaposed alongside staff-written blogs about ethical fashion and eco-shopping. The staff all share Marj’s core values and really believe ethical isn’t just a fashion choice, it’s a way of life.

Ethic-Chic

Tigerlily stocks the ethical brands Komodo, Skunkfunk, Urbancode and Matt & Nat.

Komodo: promote the use and development of Organic Cotton, Hemp, Bamboo, Tencel and other natural fibres. Care for the welfare of the suppliers and people who work in the small factory units that make their clothes.

Skunkfunk: use eco fabrics wherever possible including organic cotton, recycled polyester and lyocell. They also believe that sustainability is about creating collections that endure different trends.

Urbancode: This London-based brand is designed and made in the UK.

Matt & Nat: a vegan brand of bags that makes all its linings from recycled plastic bottles, whilst sustainable materials such as cork and rubber are sourced for the rest of the design. They also maintain close working relationships with their factories and ensure good working practices.
