FYE (For Your Earth) is an eco-friendly sneaker brand launched in 2009 that is setting fashion trends while demonstrating respect for the environment and mankind. The result of several years of careful planning to fulfill a dream of delivering ethical yet fashionable sneakers, FYE shoes are gaining popularity for more than just their good looks.
More than half of FYE shoe sole materials are derived from recycled footwear while the upper portions, depending on which of the two available styles you choose, are made from either recycled polyester (plastic bottles) or GOTS certified organic cotton. Shoe laces and inner lining are composed of certified organic cotton. Natural dyes are used to infuse the array of beautiful colors. Water-based non toxic adhesives are utilized in place of traditional toxic glues.
FYE now celebrates its second year with news of upcoming collections to expand the already sought after brand. In conjunction with the upcoming Fashion Week Berlin, FYE will be showing at Bread & Butter tradeshow from 7 - 9 July. With their super colorful, stylish and eco-friendly sneakers, FYE will present their Winter 10/11 collection as well as share hints of their Summer 2011 series. This will take place in the Fashion Area, booth S.F.1.4.
