The EssentialsColorful, customizable, conceptual…these girls have caught the right thread (“Filles en fil” means “Girls on a thread” in French)! Design boutiques and museum stores have been the first to catch on to these origami wonders for the lazy crafty. Starting with a flat pattern, you can construct and deconstruct each unique bag in a few different ways. Or stay warm and mobile using the scarf/muffs/bag and matching reversible mittens. Ethic-ChicCreators Claire Batadière and Florence Bourget work with repurposed materials left over from the once prolific factories of their native Maine and Loire regions in France, now closing down due to delocalization. Their goal is to recycle otherwise landfill bound material and preserve local craftsmanship. Find & Flaunt!Shop online at Deux Filles En Fil. . Or find a store near you here . | ||
