“Jaszy” is Jasmine McAllister, who started her own line of rich gemstone jewelry after 20 years in jewelry-retail merchandizing. Jaszy’s Jewelry can be defined in part by the Japanese wabi-sabi aesthetic, explained by author Leonard Koren as “the kind of perfect beauty that is paradoxically caused by just the right kind of imperfection, such as asymmetry as opposed to perfect but soulless and machine-made.” Jaszy’s Jewelry is designed and hand-crafted by the artist herself, creating an inherent one-of-a-kind quality that can only be born of natural processes.

Jaszy’s Jewelry goal is to lessen its environmental impact on the planet through the use of recycled metals and packaging, using Fair Trade vermeil and gemstones, and donating a portion of their proceeds towards reducing their carbon footprint and education.
