Are you an aspiring fashion designer with a refreshing eco twist? If the answer’s an affirmative yes, then a fabulous initiative by the Ethical Fashion Forum (EFF) and supported by the London Development Agency called INNOVATION is calling for your entry.

As model Erin O’Connor and an avid supporter of the competition notes, ‘Some of the most talented design graduates are now considering people and the environment when they create their collections. This competition will encourage more designers to follow suit.'

With a high profile, expert judging panel of The Daily Telegraph’s Hilary Alexander, The British Fashion Council’s Anna Orsini, Vogue.com’s Dolly Jones, Yasmin Sewell from Liberty of London and Dr Francis Corner and Dylis Williams, both from the London College of Fashion, this is the perfect opportunity to be recognised for your potential. The prize provides the opportunity to showcase your wares to the world through London’s best fashion trade shows and provides some fantastic marketing opportunities.

Even if you’ve not got the design talent yourself, it’s worth keeping an eye on the entries as some of the UK’s hottest eco fashion talent pioneers are previous winners, including Sika Designs, Christopher Raeburn, Julia Smith & MIA. Former victor Nicola Wood, who has an incredible collection of vintage kimono jackets under her brand Beautiful Soul, was just last week telling us how this contest has opened doors like no other, so download your application today from www.ethicalfashionforum.com.

I love this site.I have just stubbled apon it.I am just returning to work after maternity leave.i have developed a eco concious way of life and this has transformed my knitwear based fashion rage to follow suit.
I love to use vintage buttons and vintage fabrics as detail on my vintage style cardigans.I also like blogging on line.
