			<description>Sounds like good shoes made ethically.  I like how the article states that the animals are treated well and that their hides are only used for leather at the end of their natural lives.  
 
My only concern is Tal Dehtiar's comment about building a middle class as the only solution, the &quot;only real way&quot; to alleviating poverty.  When its stated as the only way than we stop right there from thinking of other, creative solutions.  

Middle-class society here in North American society is associated with exclusion,security at the cost of ignorance and mass consumerism/waste.  

I would hope that our job/responsibility here in North American will be recognized as ensuring a healthy, bountiful earth by alleviating these classisms and working on living more simply and gracefully as a community.
