Designer and founder of Ryann, designer Raina Blyer, was born in Brooklyn and taught to sew by her mother at the age of three. She has been making clothes ever since. After attending FIT and working in the industry for a few years Raina felt it was time to fuse her love of fashion with her concern for the world as a whole. She created Ryann as a strong design driven line that treads lightly on the planet. Since its Creation in 2005 Ryann has received attention from Lucky, Women's Wear Daily, Daily Candy, Teen Vogue, Associated Press, the Today Show and countless fashion blogs.
Ethic-Chic:
Ryann is made from a wide array of sustainable fabrics such as organic cotton, hemp, tencel, modal, bamboo, recycled fibers and organic wool. All Ryann garments are sewn in New York, sweatshop free.
