Semi-precious gemstones, recycled glass, bone, metal and leather are the building blocks for the different collections. Skilled artisans in East-Africa specialised in beadwork, stained glass blowing and leather craft are the creators. They work closely with Made’s designers to create unique and colorful pieces. Made’s collaboration with Sainsbury’s has led to the Tu collection including earrings and pendants from reclaimed wood, bone and recycled welded brass.

Ethic-Chic

Made is created to communicate the trade not aid concept while offering beautiful design products. They have built most of their African jewellery workshops from scratch, training local artisans to become skilled labourers. For these people, the Made concept is the way out of poverty. Aside from their unique business model, Made supports organizations such as Uniqueco .
